Kelowna Bay Resort is a well established vacation rental management company since April 2003. Ron & Arlene Moser and Marty & Allison Macfarlane provide personal year round vacation rental services to waterfront condo homeowners in Kelowna, Peachland and area.

Kelowna Bay Resort has a well established web site that showcases each special vacation property with pictures and full suite descriptions. We are well positioned with major internet search engines as well as Chamber of Commerce, Vacation links, promotional material, and many other resources are used for marketing. We are also licenced with the Consumer Protection Branch.

Our rates are commission based with no upfront fees. Commission is 12%-35% on short term rentals and 10% on monthly off season rentals.

Our goal is to work closely with the homeowners to make sure their property has maximum rental revenue – as well as ensuring their homes are well respected by the guests. Communication is very important to us.
We guarantee to make your rental experience simple and enjoyable!

Kelowna Bay Resort Guest Services:

    Consumer Protection BC
  • Provide reservation, screening and personal guest check-in/check-out services
  • Collection of guest deposit and balance of account
  • Collect credit card and damage deposit
  • Collect and remit signed Strata K-Form and other KBR forms
  • Tour guests on Resort facility and parking
  • Provide information on: Suite, Resort, and City
  • Ensure guests are properly informed and have copies of Rules & Regulations
  • Provide housekeeping and all supplies for guests
  • 24/7 availability to guests

Full Management Services – Exclusive 35%

  • We provide all Guest Services noted above.
  • Professionally market your property
  • Suite photos and web site information and updates
  • Book off any owner dates for personal use unless otherwise booked
  • Payment and itemised statement to owners by the 15th of each month
  • Payment of Tourism taxes
  • Small maintenance repairs and paint touch-ups at no cost to owner
  • Change filters as needed
  • Replace linens & kitchen items as needed – owner cost
  • Notify homeowner, facilitate and oversee any major repairs or damage
  • Regular suite checks when not in use, temperature, toilets, water shut off, etc.
  • Regular suite checks on monthly rentals
  • Can arrange and oversee suite renovations and decor changes
  • On site office and 24/7 availability to owner
Partial Management Services – Non-exclusive 12%

  • Professionally market your property
  • Provide reservation and screening of guests
  • Collection of guest deposit and balance of stay
  • Remit Tourism Taxes
  • Payment and itemised statement to owners by the 15th of each month


    Owner Pays:

  • Web site set up with pictures – $100.00
  • 3% of credit card reservations
  • Owner arranges and pays for all suite cleans, supplies, maintenance, and guest check-ins
  • Monthly placement fee – $300.00
  • Collection of rents and suite checks on Kelowna Bay Resort Monthly placements

Absentee Services:

For homeowners who choose not to rent, and instead enjoy their vacation home – Kelowna Bay Resort provides complete regular property checks while vacant, for insurance purposes and peace of mind.

We were kept up-to-date on any relevant affairs within the Strata Corporation as well.

We received glowing reports from renters who appreciated being personally greeted at the door, receiving gifts such as wine and fruit and having a personal tour of the facility beyond the actual unit. The Mosers were easy to contact when the guests had questions or concerns.
