Review - "I stayed one night here with my boyfriend and our friend (who had never been to banff before). Very, very basic accommodations but the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We had a family room (king sized bed and two singles) and we could have easily brought another person. Great location - right on Banff Ave so great access to restaurants, bars, shops and the bus stops right outside. If you rely on hotels to provide entertainment and dining this place might not be the best choice, but for anyone coming up for the weekend or passing through this is a clean and affordable hotel. Overall a comfortable spot to come crash after enjoying local sights and entertainment."

Breakfasts are amazing usually including locally grown produce. After a hard day of touring we'd enjoyed either walk on the adjacent beach or sitting on a lounge chair watching the sail boats on the lake before the sunset. A perfect way to end the day."

Review - "I've been going to Saskatoon for years and have always wondered about the Park Town. It's one of the three or four hotels right on the river, downtown. The other three have jacked up rates over the last year, keeping service and property maintenance unchanged and at mediocre levels. The Park Town is nothing especially fancy, but for less than $120, we got a large, river-front king, with mini fridge, comfortable lounge chair and a very high degree of cleanliness (unlike, say, a recent stay at the Sheraton). Check-in was far faster than the chain hotels. Plus you get employees and owners who seem to actually care about their guests. Tried the restaurant only for breakfast. Properly staffed, and quite attentive. Parking on a weekend wasn't an issue, even with a fully booked hotel. After crossing the Bessborough (shabby hotel, that the Delta chain's misguided self-importance doesn't help), Radisson (also run down, afflicted with the water-slide crowd), and Sheraton (bad service, worse rooms), off the list, Saskatoon needs a winner. The Park Town seems to be it."

We used this property between trips to Glacier Bay and then for another three night stay using the shuttle from the ferry dock and airport at least six times. We even rode out to WalMart to buy another digital card. The standard rooms are not pretty (needs serious work) and the rollaway bed was miserable for my son. We later moved into a one bedroom kitchenette that was upgraded and very comfortable. My son decided to sleep on the couch and they happily supplied us with extra linens. The location was perfect for walking into town and along the waterfront. Laundry facilities, breakfast establishment onsite, grocery store nearby and the local bus stop made this place perfect considering the high hotel prices in Juneau.”

Review - "This hotel is a very economical option in Rochester and is connected to the Mayo clinic by the underground walkway which is very convenient if you are going there. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom which is a stckler for me. There is also a small, empty refrigerator in the room which was left open and left a slight smell in the room. An ironing board and iron is not available in the room and there is no option for movies. Of course no room service but lots of restaurants close by. There is an interesting notice left on the bathroom sink that asks the guest to use the supplied "rag" for removing make-up or cleaning up dirty things rather than using the good linens (which are OK but postage stamp size.) Would recommend with caveats."

In the back, the view is of the valley and Cove Mountain. It is located less than 2 miles from the entrance of the park via Hwy 321 (Wears Valley Rd) and Lyon Spring Rd thru Metcalf Bottoms. It is located pretty much in the center of the activities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, and Cades Cove. Many mornings you can look into the mountains and see why they are called the Smokies.

Review - “Thank you so much for letting us stay your beautiful cabin. It was very homey and came complete with anything and everything we needed. The views were gorgeous!! Pictures cannot even begin to show the beauty of this place. This was the first time my parents and younger brother have ever been to the smokies, and it was a wonderful way for them to experience the beauty the mountains have to offer. A baby skunk came to visit almost everyday, as well as a young raccoon who visited every night. He hung out around the porch after he realized there were peple here. The bear did not visit. ? We were all very hopeful, but the bear did not show up. Although something did snag something out of the garbage very sneakily… Thank you once again for the help you offered, and for the comfort of this cabin. The beds are fantiastic and the decorating is gorgeous and brings smiles to our faces. The fireplace is a huge difference from Miami. Everything was perfect.”
